Will my aftermarket exhaust become illegal?

Q. If I have a dealer-approved Arrow exhaust system fitted on my Triumph by the dealer and these EU rules come in saying no aftermarket exhausts, would this mean I have to take it off and refit the original even though it’s dealer-approved?

A. The Type Approval legislation is expected to be introduced in a number of stages, starting in 2016, but it will not be retrospective, so any changes you make to your bike under current legislation will still be legal as it is rolled out.
