KBC unveils race-specification helmet

Helmet manufacturer KBC has expanded its range with the launch of a full-face, race-spec, lid.

The VR-2R is constructed from a vacuum-laminated shell, and features a dual-intake vent system to circulate air around the rider’s head.

Particular attention has been paid to aerodynamics in a bid to maximise manoeuvrability, and cut down on neck strain.

The visor comes complete with an anti-fog coating as standard, but also includes pre-drilled slots to allow a Pinlock fog-free insert to be fitted. Inside, the helmet features an Ultralux liner incorporating memory foam and a suede material.

KBC has constructed the VR-2R to meet the ECE22.05, and ACU Gold, specifications. Sizes range from XXS-XXL, and the helmet is priced at £179.99.
