Shoei are choosing to launch their much anticipated John McGuinness replica, on the top of the range X-Spirit II shell around the time of next year’s Isle of Man TT – hopefully to celebrate his sixteenth TT win.

This picture shows the first version of the lid’s design, fresh from the studio of Rich Art. It’s due to be tweaked in the next 12 months, but we couldn’t resist showing you this work in progress.

The lids are expected to be released in a limited edtition of 350-500. Shame we have to wait so long, though.
