1 of 3

This is the new electronically controlled rear shock and steering damper from Ohlins, officially launched last week at the Milan Show.

The concept is based on a small actuator that can be fitted by an Ohlins service centre and installed into a TTX shock as the mechanical compression and rebound adjuster are designed to facilitate the change over.

The Ohlins R&D team has produced the system completely in house, including the ECU with all the algorithms written by Ohlins R&D department.

The ECU manages several electronically controlled suspension features

An electronically controlled linear steering damper will also be available from Ohlins Racing in 2010 which can be automatically adjusted using a sensor connected to the system.

Prices are to be announced by Harris Performance at the NEC Show.
