Why is my GSX-R750 running wide?

1 of 1

I’ve got a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R750 which I love the look and power of. The problem is that when I open the throttle up in the second part of a corner while the bike is still cranked over, it starts to run wide.

What’s happening is that the rear of the bike is sitting down as you feed the power in. that takes the weight off the front end so it feels like it’s running wide. Try increasing the rear compression damping two clicks at a time, and go through the same corner at the same speed each time to get the optimum setting.
