Pirelli launch limited edition BSB tyre for the road

To celebrate going into its second year as sole tyre provider for the British Superbike Championship, Pirelli has launched a limited edition tyre celebrating the tie-in with the domestic racing series.

Based on the firms flagship sport road tyre, the Supercorsa, the new rubber is called the Diablo Supercorsa BSB tyre.

Technical Racing Manager for BSB, Stefan Baum, said: “This is a new product from Pirelli.

“The Diablo Supercorsa BSB is a special edition road tyre with its heritage in the BSB Championship.

“The Diablo Supercorsa enjoyed a very successful debut season as the control tyre in the British Super sport Championship and is now available for sports bike riders on the road.”

The tyre will be available in sizes: 120/70ZR17 / 180/55ZR17 / 190/55ZR17.
