Hucklebridge to KX450F

Mark Hucklebridge will ride the new Kawasaki KX450F in the MX1 and British Open championships next year.

Hucklebridge, 27, won the 2001 UK Supercross Championship on a KX250, and will race in a two-man team alongside Joe Dark on a KX250F, under the guidance of Kawasaki dealership MotoXtreme.

Also challenging for the MX1 title will be Stephen Sword on the Jan de Groot prepared Kawasaki Racing Team factory KX450F.

“We know we’ve got the riders and now we’ve got the bike to compete in the biggest capacity class of them all,” said UK Team Green Co-ordinator Alex Brawn. “It’s great to have Huck back on a green machine. For him to be alongside Swordy at British events will be awesome for the fans and a worrying sight for the opposition.”
