Hodgson rumour denied

A flurry of talk which linked Neil Hodgson with Paul Bird in a mooted works Honda team for the 2007 British Superbike championship has prompted the star’s manager to pour cold water on the idea.

With Hodgson currently away on holiday, Roger Burnett said,” I haven’t spoken to Paul, and these are obviously just rumours. We are still waiting for news from Carl Fogarty – Carl is in the driving seat.”

Hodgson is holding out for a sponsor to commit to Fogarty’s team for 2007.
