Factory SXV for Iddon

British supermoto star Christian iddon will debut his full factory Aprilia 550SXV at the first Moto GB British Supermotard round at Cadwell Park on Saturday May 20, 2006.

This will be the first time one of the full factory GP bikes will race in the UK, as fellow Aprilia rider Sam Warren is on a factory-supported machine. Iddon’s debut comes on the back of a third place at the European GP held in Italy in April.

Iddon will face a strong challenge from the like;s of KTM riders Chris Hodgson and James Addy, Husaberg-mounted Keith Farmer and Andy Mitchell, and Matt Pope on a Husqvarna. There will also be a strong French challenge from Alex Thiebault and Mickael Zammit for MWR.

Round one of the British Supermoatrd Championship will feature practice and qualifying from 9am-11.30am, with racing starting at 11.45am. Tickets cost £12 on the gate or £10 in advance. Contact: 01507-343248.
