Tunstall undecided on BSB Evo

Tom Tunstall is facing an agonising decision whether or not to switch to BSB Evo or stay in the BSB class.

The former Privateer Cup Honda rider tried both configurations of engine at Cartagena and is sure which way to go when the season kicks off.

He told MCN: “I got up to speed on the superbike first of all and it was great to be back on the bike again. I was really enjoying myself.

“Then we fitted the stock engine, just to see what it felt like. It was lovely – so easy to ride and the lap times – if I’m honest – weren’t that far different. I did a 1:36.4 on my superbike and was only six tenths off that on the stock engine. 

“Now I’m not sure which way to go.”
