The new-look Snetterton 300 circuit is fast approaching completion with the new paddock extension now underway and initial safety inspections of the track completed.

Latest images of the transformed Norfolk circuit show that the whole 2.99 mile circuit barring the (currently named) Revett straight has received its final layer of tarmac, and the majority of kerbs are already in place. Groundwork on the paddock extension has also begun in earnest this week.

Circuit manager Jamie Hopper also confirms that the circuit has received considerable praise from major UK sporting and circuit licensing authorities following an interim circuit inspection yesterday (Thursday).

“We have received very positive feedback from the MSA (Motor Sports Association), ACU (Auto Cycle Union) and MCRCB (Motorcycle Racing Control Board) following our initial safety inspections” said Hopper.

“Work is progressing very well, and we anticipate the new circuit will be operational from the 14th of February, which is extraordinary considering the works only commenced in November. I am eagerly awaiting the views and comments from the drivers and riders who will be the first to try out the spectacular new layout!”
