Noriyuki Haga will replace the injured Ian Hutchinson in the Swan Yamaha team alongside 2011 BSB champion Tommy Hill.

The 36-year-old Japanese rider has been signed for the full season while Hutchinson will revert to the Supersport class once he has made a full recovery from the broken leg he sustained in practice for the Revolution show at the Carole Nash MCN show two weeks ago.

Swan Yamaha team owner Shaun Muir told MCN: “Nori was a natural choice to make. We wanted someone on board as soon as possible, and someone to do a full season on the superbike.”

“Hutchy’s got his own target to get back on track. He aims to start testing after the Oulton BSB round and then go to the North West. He’s also aiming to race a 600 at Snetterton and then go to the TT.”
