ITV Four have announced their commentator line-up for their midweek highlights package, with James Haydon continuing to host the hour-long show that airs on a Wednesday night on the Freeview channel.

He’ll be joined in the commentary box by former MotoGP commentator Toby Moody and former British champion Niall Mackenzie. Speaking to MCN, Moody says he’s delighted to be making the move to the highly popular domestic series:

“I’m absolutely looking forwards to it. BSB is a buoyant series, to say the least, and the last race weekends at Brands Hatch for the past few years have been second to none, and it’s going to be an exciting year.”

“BSB is renowned for getting lots of people to the track, and if you can get lots of people there then you get lots of atmosphere – I try to get to at least one or two BSB races every year, and my first ever was the day at Donington where Niall beat Whit to win the championship in October 1996.”

“I’ve got James Haydon with me, who I’ve worked with before; we covered a Grand Prix together for Eurosport back in 2010, and I’ve had Niall alongside me in the box various times, although we’ve never commentated together. But if you can’t get along with him then there’s something wrong with you!”

“It’s also nice to be back working with ITV Four; I’ve worked with them before on British Touring Cars, and they’re so professional to work with.”
