Dutch MotoGP: Sergio Gadea goes fastest in free practice for 125s

Aprilia Rider Sergio Gadea was the quickest rider in the 125 series this morning as the Assen MotoGP weekend began. 

The Spaniard recorded a time of 1:47.611, just under one 10th of a second quicker than German Sandro Cortese.

Current 125 MotoGP championship leader, Hector Faubel, was 11th quickest on his Aprilia with a best time of 1:48.746.

Britain’s top 125 MotoGP rider Bradley Smith will miss the rest of the weekend’s action in Holland after breaking a bone in his left hand and foot this morning.

Fellow Brit, Danny Webb recorded a best time of 1:52.276 on his Honda.
