Cadwell Park British Superbikes: Haslam takes the double win

1 of 1

Leon Haslam has taken the double win after the second race at Cadwell Park British Superbikes.

Haslam took his third race win in a row by pulling exactly the same move that won him race one.

Tom Sykes lead the race from the start but Haslam out breaked him at the end of Park straight on lap 7 leaving him to settle for second on the podium.

Shayne Byrne managed to hold off a charge from team-mate Leon Camier on lap 10 to keep third place, repeating his podium position from race one and leaving Camier to settle for fourth.

Cal Crutchlow had poor weekend at Cadwell Park. Race one saw the HM Plant Honda rider suffering from severe chatter that prevented him from keeping up. He was looking good in second place in race two until he tried too hard and ground out the engine casing on a kerb going in to Hall bends and slid out when his front wheel came away from the ground.

Crutchlow managed to rejoin but lost two places in the championship after finishing in 13th.

Top five positions:
