Check out this advert for the new ‘cross plane crank’ 2009 Yamaha YZF-R1 featuring Valentino Rossi.

Rossi has already appeared in Yamaha adverts in the past including the 2007 R1 and last year’s revised R6.

Colin Edwards has already appeared in one promotional video to publicise the new litre sports bike, and now Rossi has also been tied in as part of Yamaha’s selling point to promote the technology on the new road bike that has derived from Rossi’s M1.
