Road racer Ryan Farquhar has announced he is to race with the JMF Millsport Superbike and Supersport Yamaha team for the up coming Ulster GP.

Ryan Farquhar has already taken 21 wins in the Irish National road racing scene this season and will also ride his usual Harker Racing Kawasaki in the Superstock race at the Ulster GP.

Farquhar is currently leading both the Superbike and Supersport Irish National road race championships as well as the Duke Road Race Rankings. He had hoped to ride a JMF Yamaha R6 at the recent Faugheen meeting but mechanical problems prevented him from doing so.

Ryan Farquhar said: “I’m delighted to be riding for the JMF Millsport Racing team at the Ulster Grand Prix and with the machinery we have in place, we’ve got a great chance in all of the races.

“We tried really hard to get a Kawasaki Superbike to compliment my usual bikes but it wasn’t forthcoming so I’m really grateful to everyone at JMF Millsport Racing for the opportunity.

“It’s been a great year so far and I’m relishing the chance to ride a full spec Superbike machine for the first time this season and it will be great to compete in the Superbike races on an equal playing field.”

The Ulster Grand Prix Bikeweek takes place from 11th-17th August.
