Vallelunga World Supersport: Rea claims third to earn himself a front row start

British rider Rea, who took second in the first qualifying session, claimed third to earn himself a front row start at the second World Supersport qualifying season this afternoon.

Broc Parkes lead the way though to take first place. It’s been a good day for Australian race fans, with Aussie riders leading the pack in both World Superbike and World Supersport qualifying sessions, since Parkes’ compatroit Troy Bayliss topped the time sheets at the Vallelunga track just before.

Veneman took second place on his Suzuki GSX-R600 and Italian Nannelli took fourth, leaving Australian Pitt and Spanish Lascorz rider to take fifth and sixth respectively.
