Aragon MotoGP: Terol wins home race

Championship leader Nicolas Terol has taken his eighth win of the season at the Motorland Aragon circuit.

Terol took the lead at the first corner and from then on was unstoppable, as he edged away from the rest of the field.

Frenchman Johann Zarco again finished second, after struggling to pass pole setter Hector Faubel early on in the race. Faubel battled with Zarco until the final corner, where he crashed.

16-year-old Maverick Vinales was promoted to third place after Faubel’s early exit.

Brit’s Danny Kent and Danny Webb finished 7th and 15th respectively.
