MotoGP fans still have a few days left to take advantage of the special ‘Early Bird’ ticket discounts for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on June 17.

You could save yourself up to 20% on ticket prices for the Silverstone race weekend, which hosts the sixth round of the 2012 MotoGP world championship.

Tickets booked via www.silverstone.co.uk before 5pm on Tuesday 31 January, are available at ‘Early Bird’ prices, starting at just £12 for Friday practice.

Weekend Tickets, for all three days of the event (Friday 15 June – Sunday 17 June 2012), are available from £60.

Richard Phillips, Managing Director of Silverstone Circuits Limited, said: “We had fantastic crowds on all three days of last year’s event, with more fans making the most of the three-day ticket packages and official camping facilities.

“Feedback was extremely positive and we’re planning an even bigger festival of two-wheels for June.”

The popular three-day and roving grandstand tickets are available once again this year, while Silverstone is pleased to introduce a ‘kids go free’ policy for 2012, enabling children aged 15 and under* to attend the British Grand Prix free of charge.

Phillips added: “We are particularly pleased to introduce a ‘kids go free’ policy for this year’s event, making the British Grand Prix more affordable for families and the next generation of bike fans.”
