Catalunya MotoGP: Marquez takes pole

Estrella Galicia Honda rider Alex Marquez will start tomorrow’s Moto3 race at the Catalunya circuit from pole position after setting a best time of 1:50.232.

The Spaniard will be joined on the front row by Italian Enea Bastianini and team-mate Alex Rins, who crashed late in the session.

Brad Binder will head the second row ahead of Niklas Ajo and Isaac Vinales.

Current championship leader Jack Miller will start from the back of the third row in ninth position, just one place ahead of Brit rider John McPhee.
