Shorttrack UK series kicks off at Kings Lynn

The Shorttack UK series kicks off at the Norfolk Arena, Kings Lynn this Sunday (April 11) and looks like being one of the most exciting seasons so far, with four motorcycle manufacturers fielding teams and riders from all over the UK and Europe.

Suzuki’s Pete Boast will be defending the UK Title from a 36-rider field including three times STUK champ Marco Belli riding the new Zaeta Flat Track Machine.

lso in the line-up are: HM Plant Honda rider Aidan Collins, 2007 European Champion Jacopo Monti and factory CCM riders Tom Woolley & Richard May.

Other top names include: Kings Lynn star speedway rider Aussie Kevin Doolan, Rusty Hodgson, Ben Baker, Glyn Pocklington, Richard (magic) Mason, former GP sidecar star Derek Brindley, Tim Greig, Victor Bull, Geoff Baldock

There are also support classes of the Redmax Thunderbikes, Arrow Engineering Juniors and the Mad MiniBikes. Racing Starts at 1pm with a 30-race programme.

Admission – £10 Adults, Concs £8, Juniors (12-15) £5, Kids go free.
