TT organisers announce second Supersport death

The ACU have announced that Martin Loicht, 48, from Vienna, Austria was killed during yesterday’s Supersport 2 race in an incident near Quarry Bends.

Loicht was competing in the TT at this year’s TT, classed as a Newcomer, but had previously raced at the TT in the 90s in the solos and as a sidecar passenger and had also raced at the Southern 100.   

He was married to Nikola and has two children.
