Michael Dunlop finalises his 2010 plans

1 of 1

Michael Dunlop has finalised his superbike ride for 2010 – the Gareth Robinson-owned, Honda Fireblade with a Chris Mehew-built motor that Michael smashed the Southern 100 lap record with last year and finished fourth in the race.

Dunlop (22) also has a Fireblade for the superstock races, supplied by Hunts Motorcycles in Manchester, and a pair of Yamaha R6s for supersport races supplied by Gary Ryan of Streetsweep in Lusk.

Dunlop is running his own team with Ryan working as the team manager.

Other backers include: Derek Grey of D&GW Racing who provides him with two-stroke race bikes as well as financial backing, plus Martin Marlow, Dromad Hire and Around a Pound.

Dunlop also has his own supporters club, the aptly named Team Hardship’. Fans who pitch it with fund-raising events to help keep the Michael Dunlop show on the road.
