GP star Danny Webb to make TT debut

Former Grand Prix polesetter Danny Webb will make his debut at the 2014 Isle of Man TT, riding for Ryan Farquhar’s KMR Kawasaki team in the superbike, superstock and lightweight classes.

The former top ten finisher in the 125GP class says that although always wanting to do the TT, he expected it to happen later in his career, but when the opportunity arose to ride with Farquhar he jumped at the opportunity.

“I still want to race on short circuits, but a few things happened last year and I wasn’t happy. A lot of racing is political, and I just want to ride motorbikes.”

“I’ve been to the Island to spectate a couple of times and I watched at Bray Hill with Kevin Schwantz. It made me feel like a bit of a pussy about my own racing, and for a rider like Kevin to say it was mad made me appreciate how spectacular the TT is.”
