Video: Troy Bayliss takes to the track on the 1098

Troy Bayliss and Michel Fabrizio got to test the all new Ducati 1098 F08 at Qatar today. Riding for the first time alongside their WSB rivals, Bayliss completed a number of short runs on the all new bike.

From trackside the most noticeable difference is the exhaust note which is lower and flatter than the previous Ducati 999 due to the new bike having a lower rev limit.

Bayliss and Fabrizio spent the opening morning dealing with high winds which was causing sand to be blown on track, but concentrated on basic settings and bedding in new parts.
