Cal Crutchlow is hoping to make a decision on his future in the next seven days, which will see him either in Moto2 or WSB.

The current World Supersport series leader is being courted by the Gresini Honda MotoGP squad to race in the new Moto2 class, but is also under pressure to race in the factory Yamaha World Superbike team.

The 22 year old has become a target for Moto2 teams given his relentless pace onboard his factory R6 in this years World Supersport championship. Yamaha are also keen to retain his services given his performances and his past experience on a Superbike. With five wins to his credit he currently leads Parkalgar Honda man Eugene Laverty by 23 points with three rounds remaining.

Speaking to MCN he said: “I’d like to get things sorted for next year pretty soon. There are still a few details to sort out on both sides. They are both really good options and it’s going to be hard turning either one of them down.”
