James Ellison’s meet and greet party

Since James Ellison is racing abroad this year and won’t get as much of an opportunity to meet his fans in the UK as he likes, he’s organized his own meet and greet party in Matlock, this Sunday (May 29), starting at 3.30pm.

James sent us this flyer, which tells you all you need to know!

Hi everyone! Just thought I’d fill you in on something special that’s happening this Sunday. My wife and personal sponsors from SRS Rail Systems are putting together an official meet and greet.

As I’m racing in Europe this season and therefore not able to attend any bike shop openings, this will most likely be one of the only public appearances I make this year.

The entrance fee for an adult is £5 and kids under 14 years old get in free.
We’ll be having a BBQ, auction and our good friends at Monster Energy will provide a free drink at the door.

We’ll also be running an auction and the items include:

Two Moto GP Silverstone paddock passes with hospitality and pit tour with Monster Energy
Playstation games etc
Knox/Ellison replica gloves
One-on-one track day and tutoring at Mallory Park with yours truly J (this will be fun!)
Two World Superbike paddock tickets (for any round but Silverstone)
Racing leathers
And many more exclusive things!

But we’ve got other entertainment planned, which includes:
Challenging me on the Sony PS3 SBK-X game (if I lose, you win a prize)
My World Supersport bike will be there in all its glory
We’re also working on a band and bouncy castle etc.

As most of you know, travelling in a world championship is anything but cheap. The money raised will be going towards my travel expenses as this year I rely solely on personal sponsorship and help from friends and family. So you have no idea how much this will help.

I will also donate 20% of the proceeds to my wife’s fundraiser to help my injured compatriots, “Heal the Riders.”
