Following the final race of the season at Portimão, MCN’s WSB reporter Michael Guy was given exclusive access to testing in which Eugene Laverty made his debut on the PATA Aprilia RSV4 and Marco Melandri got his first ride on the BMW S1000RR.

Both Melandri and Leon Haslam were able to try the 2012 BMW S1000RR and test some of its radically different revisions.
