BMW release a range of customising parts for the R nineT family

BMW have collaborated with custom bike guru Roland Sands to create a number of finely machined parts for the German marque’s family of popular R nineT models.

The parts are intended to allow customers to further customise their machines, putting their own unique stamp on the look of their bike. The machined parts include accessories that will fit all of the current R nineT range of bikes.

The range of parts include; Cylinder head covers, Oil filler neck lid, belt cover, headlight cover, handlebar ends, rear axle cover, bevel gear bearing cover and a swing-arm pivot mount cover. All the parts are manufactured with a CNC-machine before undergoing hand polishing and an application of a black coating that gives a look that sits somewhere between a glossy black and aluminium finish.

There is also the option to purchase an aluminium fuel tank for the first time. It was exclusive to the original R nineT model, and didn’t transcend to the slightly cheaper models that entered into the market last year, with a steel alternative of the same shape and volume being used instead. Now however, the tanks will be available for the other bikes in the family too.

The custom parts are available now, visit your local BMW dealership for more information.
