Where can I get Hayabusa luggage?

Q. I’ve looked far and wide but can’t find any sort of hard luggage for my Suzuki 1300 Hayabusa. I live in Germany, and no one can help, not even Suzuki Germany.

A. This all goes back to the first Busas having a problem with cracking alloy sub-frames.

From 2002 on the bikes were fitted with steel sub-frames which added two kilos to the weight, but the luggage makers were running scared by then and as German-market kit has to be TUV-approved you’ll be struggling.

Having said that, I have seen some shaped hard panniers from US firm Corbin that might fit the bill.
