Aprilia has launched its 2002 clothing range, aimed at showing how leisure style is going hand-in-hand with technical biking gear.

UK based after-sales manager Massimo Granata said, ” In Italy, huge numbers of people ride scooters, and many of them like to buy our branded leisure clothes. We’ve developed a quality range which will appeal to more than just bike enthusiasts. ”

Spyke makes the Aprilia leathers and heavy-duty textiles, while the leisure clothing is from Cumbrian firm Lloyd Lifestyle.

The stylish jacket collection is headed by the £89.99 Brooklyn jacket, which has a hood and short zip, and the £199.99 Riva leather jacket. The range also includes the £79.99 Team textile jacket.

Waterproof jackets include the £199.99 Pitlane and £229.99 Strada. The Touring jacket at £290 has a top specification of Cordura fabric backed by a breathable and waterproof membrane as well as body armour. Details: 01776-888670
