He has done thousands of laps of the 13 mile circuit in his role of teacher with the Honda UK Riders Club and many other schools the circuit entertains, and pronounces it one of the greatest challenges a rider can tackle.

With its rise and fall over the length of its sinuous Tarmac of almost 1000ft the Nurburgring is like riding a rollercoster. No two laps are ever the same and many riders believe that mastery of the circuit is impossible.
