Three day advanced training

UK Advanced Motorcycle Training are offering a three-day advanced motorcycle riding course. The person taking part will end up with a level three certificate in motorcycling recognised by Oxford Open College Network.

All instructors are either serving Police Class one or Advanced Police Motorcycle Instructors.

The course is split into two stages:

Day one is a theory day which consists of presentations on positioning, cornering, observations, overtaking, braking and bike handling skills as well as an eye sight test.

Days two and three start with a written exam which is followed by practical on road training putting all the things learnt on day one into practice under the watchful eye of the instructor. Students have radio communications with the instructor and receive constant feedback about their riding.

After completing the course, UK Advanced Motorcycle Training write to Your insurance company stating that you have undergone a period of Advanced Training. The course is currently recognised by Carole Nash, Devitts DA and Biketeam among others

Each student receives an in-depth riding report on their strengths and weaknesses, and an action plan for future development.

Training centres are located in Bedford, Oxford, Bristol, Cardiff, Stafford, Northumberland, Kent and Cleveland
