BMW’s first genuine four-cylinder sports bike

BMW boss Dr Herbert Diess has confirmed that the much-rumoured new K1200S superbike will be launched later this year and that it will be the firm’s: ” first genuine four-cylinder sports bike. ”

BMW has even released tantalising official pictures of it under a translucent cover.

Dr Diess is interviewed about the new bike in MCN, out on Wednesday, April 28. He hints it will make around 150bhp and weigh around 210kg.

The current K1200RS and K1200GT will continue in the BMW line-up after the launch of the K1200S.
