Carole Nash buy out AA bike insurance

If you are insured with the AA, you will be with Carole Nash instead from March.

The AA has sold its bike business of 17,000 riders to the specialist bike broker.

The purchase boosts Carole Nash’s position as the biggest broker in the country, taking it to almost 240,000 policies in the UK and Ireland.

If you are covered by the AA, the only difference will be the number you ring if you have a problem or need to make a claim. If you’re an AA customer and you’d like more information on the changes, call 0870-606-1611.

You’ll be contacted by Carole Nash when your policy is due to expire, offering you a quote for the following year.

The firm has access to the same underwriters as the AA and promises the quote will be just as competitive as the old policy.

As part of the deal, the firm will employ 20 more customer service staff to make sure it can cope with the extra calls.
