DK makes it our lucky day

1 of 1

Jammy, spawny, lucky? whatever you want to call us, we?re thrilled to accept two brilliant bikes on long term test courtesy of those thoroughly agreeable chaps at DK Motorcycles.
motorcyclenews.com staffers Daniel Thornton and Angus Farquhar made the journey to DK in Newcastle Under Lyme on Wednesday to take delivery. Their reports on the bikes will be featured on the site and in the pages of MCN between now and mid-October.
Thornton got his grubby mits on a used Honda RVF400. It’s left him with a smile wider than a Triumph Rocket III?s back tyre.
” This is a bike I’ve wanted since I was 16, ” raved Dan, now 26. ” It makes every road feel like you’re riding around the TT circuit. “
And there’s a queue of eager riders at the MCN offices gagging to have a go on the pocket V4. We know a good thing when we see it.
Dan is keen to hear from other owners, so e-mail him: daniel.thornton@emap.com
A starry-eyed Farquhar, 25, was handed the keys to a 51 CBR600. He’s as happy as lottery winner in a lap dancing joint.
” It’s fantastic so far – sporty and comfortable. It’s a do-anything kind of bike, great fun to ride and really user friendly, ” said Angus. If you’ve got one, e-mail angus.farquahar@emap.com
You might have spotted Dan and Angus making the long run back to Peterborough on Wednesday afternoon – through the snow showers.
