Foggy hands over his 916

The man who bought the first item sold on MCN Auctions took possession of his prize at Brands Hatch at the weekend – and the one very careful owner was on there to hand it over.

Ed Vernon placed the winning bid for Carl Fogarty’s own Ducati 916 Foggy Rep SPS with just four minutes to go in the 10-day auction.

The bike met its £23,000 reserve within 24 hours of going live on MCN Auctions. Ed’s winning bid took that up to £23,350.

Ed said: “It was great to meet Carl, too. It’s a memory which will stay with me for ever,” he said.
