Open day loses its shine

1 of 1

The Adrenalin X open day at Brands Hatch on Saturday (Jan 15) will go ahead without many of the stars it was advertised as having in attendance.

Many are saying they never had any intention of being at the event.

Carl Fogarty has issued a statement on the Foggy Petronas website saying he is ‘furious’ with the promoters (click here to read it).

Event organiser Andrea Brunetti-Leach admits there was confusion over Foggy’s attendance but remains adamant that there will be loads of stars at the open day.

However James Toseland told us he never agreed to go, while Shane Byrne says he was never asked. Karl Harris, Michael Rutter and Suzi Perry have also told us that they will not be there. They were all listed as attending.

British Superbikes star Leon Haslam and TV babe Louise Brady have confirmed they WILL be going.

Our January 12 issue of MCN publicised the event and listed the stars who the organisers told us would be attending. We passed on this information in good faith and would like to apologise for any disappointment which may be caused by it.

The free open day does however feature the full Dainese range, Arai service truck, minimotos, freestyle displays, supermotos and discounts.

You’ll find Adrenalin X at Retail Unit A, Brands Hatch, Kent.

Foggy may not be going to the Adrenalin X event but if you want a chance to speak to him then get yourself over to the Foggy Petronas site at 11am on Friday where the ex champ will be chatting online with fans for an hour.
