Hairy bikers back on BBC

Bikes are coming to BBC 2 again this autumn with the second series of the Hairy Bikers’ Cookbook.

The two bearded biker chefs have already been seen cruising round Portugal on their Triumphs trying to find the best food, but for the second series they’ve expanded their horizons and are heading off around the world in search of culinary delights.

The pair are currently filming round the world, taking in places like the Namibian desert, sailing a catamaran to the Isle of Man and Ireland and biking through Transylvania cooking on whatever they can find, from a portable Cobb oven (01296 681095) strapped to the back of their bikes to a homemade spit roast over a garage inspection pit.

The full schedule for the programme will be released later in the year
