Party across Europe

Everyone has heard of the Cannonball Run, the mad car races that too place across the States and now across Europe, well now the organisers have decided to extend the madness to two wheels.

The Cannonball Runs were revived in 2002 essentially as a huge party road trip across Europe, but the organisers were getting a little fed up with the long motorway miles that the cars had to do between each destination so they decided to run the event on bikes and take in only the best roads.

The event takes place from Wednesday August 24 to Sunday August 28 and places equal importance on riding great roads and partying hard on the way, taking in London, Paris and Monte Carlo.

The route, which is not released until the morning you set off, takes in about 7 hours of mountain and back roads every day followed by a serious party and first class accommodation every night.

The organisers are keen to point out it is not a race but there are trophies awarded.

There are only 74 places available and they cost £1299 per bike and rider but that price includes everything from VIP entry to the launch party, all ferry crossings, VIP entry to all the parties and a luggage courier system so all you have to do is ride.
