We asked you to share where you rode at the weekend. Your first contributions have started arriving.

David Goodfellow, said: “We left Carlisle at 8am, took the A6 Penrith, A592 Ullswater to Ambleside via Kirkstone Pass.

“Then it was the B5286 Hawkshead, B5285 Windermere Ferry, A5074 Levens, A590 M6 Jnct 36, A65 Kirkby Lonsdale, Devils Bridge ,A683 Kirkby Stephen, lunch stop.

“A685 Brough, B6276 Stanhope, A689 Alston-Brampton, A69 Carlisle arr 4pm, 175 miles. Perfect weather,lots of cyclists K.Stephen to Middleton In Teesdale. Just two of us on a CBR750 and K1200RS.

“A couple of weeks ago we did a day tour of central Scotland 8am to 9pm 413 miles.”
