Published: 26 August 2006

More than £1,500 has been raised for the National Association for Bikers with a Disability (NABD) at the Rock ‘n’ Ride event, which saw 97 motorcycles ride through East Lothian to the Borders to support the charity. Bikers4Bikers sponsored the ride and organiser Yvonne Schmitt presented Bernie McPhillips, a south-east Scotland representative of NABD, with the cheque at a Minehoff MCC Rally. Additionally, a rock night featuring the bands Sumo for Now, Nitrogen Sky, Apparition and Maiden Scotland took place in the Haddington town house. A raffle and auction were also held.
