Another bike crash TV ad

1 of 1

A new TV ad from Transport for London meant to promote motorcycle safety has been slammed as a blatant attempt to scare people off two wheels.

TfL claims that the ad was meant to make riders think a bit more about their safety but we showed it to a select group of motorcyclenews.com site users and they resoundingly said all it did was to portray bikes as dangerous, put off potential new riders and get existing riders grief from already disapproving family.

The ad pictures a bloke getting up in the morning fro his daily commute before being hit by an opening car door, sliding in to a lamp-post and lying on the floor paralysed.
