MCN bike record attempt

MCN roadtester Adam ‘Chad’ Child is attempting to set a number of motorcycle speed records today, Friday, June 9, 2006, and he sent this picture of two of the record attempt machines.

Chad is aiming to set production bike records riding the Kawasaki ZZR1400, Suzuki GSX-R750 and a Honda Fireblade. There’s currently no production records int he 1400cc class, so that one should be easy, but the other records will provide more of a challenge.

The attempt is taking place at Woodbridge with ACU officials organising the attempts, including the standing start 1/4 mile, standing start one kilometre and standing start one kilometre. Find how how he does in MCN, June 28, 2008.
