90 killed or seriously injured on roads each day

A report released this week revealed that 90 people are killed or seriously injured each day on UK roads.

The report from road safety campaigners Brake also showed that 30 of the deaths are victim aged 25 or under. Brake is calling for the government to take action to reduce the figure, including introducing road safety as part of the national curriculum in schools.
