Zero traffic Cops

Police forces around the country have admitted to MCN to having zero dedicated traffic cops. 

We submitted a Freedom of Information Enquiry to every force in the country and found that traffic policing is in such chaos that it’s impossible to establish how many dedicated officers there are and therefore make any meaningful comparisons with the past.

Many forces can say how many “road policing” officers they have but admit the role includes additional duties to traffic.
