Thieves cause danger by stealing drain grates

Motorcyclists are being put in serious danger in East Sussex by a group who are stealing metal grates from drains.

Approximately 70 grates have been stolen so far and Sussex Council is calling for motorcyclists to keep an eye on the road. If you see an exposed drain or anyone stealing one, contact East Sussex Highways on 08456-080193.
