Exhaust law to hit Guernsey

1 of 1

A majority of States members in Guernsey have requested a law to be passed to limit the noise made by vehicles, with motorcycle exhausts being at the forefront of the issue.

If accepted it will be illegal to ride a motorcycle with an altered exhaust system that makes the machine louder.

Trevor Hockey, owner of Trev’s Motorcycles said: “Guernsey is an overpopulated place and people complain about everything.

“I get annoyed by noise from my neighbour mowing his lawn but I don’t go and play Mr Angry about it.”
