Join Ride for Rights 2007

1 of 1

MCN and rider’s rights group Rider Connect are calling on motorcyclists to join us in London on October 20 for a mass ride against road pricing for motorcycles.

Despite a petition signed by thousands of riders, Government has yet to offer any assurance that motorcyclists will not be included in road pricing plans aimed at tackling congestion.

News that road pricing could be linked to speed limiters makes it even more important that we drive home the message that motorcycles are non-congesting and should therefore not be subjected to congestion charges.

Ride for Rights 2007 also aims to challenge recent calls from road safety groups for power, weight and speed restrictions for motorcycles. Join us to celebrate motorcycling and make our voice heard.

A charge of £5 per rider will be split between charity and organisation costs – £2 will be split between Riders for Health and UK Air Ambulance charities and the other £3 will pay costs such as venue hire and marshalling. MCN makes no money from ticket sales.
